ORLANDO — Evan Fournier and Jason Smith had stellar games last night verse the Denver Nuggets.
Fournier scored a season-high 30 points, Smith added 25 — and pulled off a dazzling sequence in the fourth quarter — and the Orlando Magic held off the Denver Nuggets 116-110 on Tuesday night.
Victor Oladipo scored 23 points and Aaron Gordon added 16 for the Magic. Brandon Jennings finished with a double-double off the bench, scoring 12 points and 11 assists.
“Shooting an open up shot, that was kind of our object, and tonight I was the open man.” Smith Said. “We know that we have to have consistent effort like that every night, and that will be a good opportunity for us to display that tomorrow night in Charlotte.” Smith said.
Jason Smith had 25 points and 13 rebounds for Orlando.
The Magic’s attendance for Tuesday night was (16,988) as they hosted FanDuel, the web-based fantasy sports game, has pledged to donate $1 to the nonprofit Central Florida Commission on Homelessness for every Tweet using the hashtag #RethinkHomelessness during the Orlando Magic’s match-up verses the Denver Nuggets.
